This group meets on the third Monday of the month at 1.30 pm in the Rangitumau Room at REAP House. Next meeting is Monday 15 September.

This fourth session is called ‘Memory Joggers’. At this meeting, techniques for capturing memories will be discussed. It’s not too late for new people to join the course—but they will have to do a bit of reading (and writing!) to catch up. Each session lasts for about an hour.

Book Group
Convenor: Jan Veitch, ph 370 9261 or e-mail veitch@wise.net.nz

This group meets on the 4
th Monday of each month, and the venue varies between REAP House and the homes of some of the members. Each month the group decides on a genre of book for the next month. Participants read their choice of book in that genre, and bring it along to share at the meeting. At the meeting people give a brief review plus whether or not they recommend it. Books are often from the library but if owned privately are usually available for loan to other members. In August we focussed on a recent visitor to New Zealand, the American writer Jodi Picoult.

Next meeting: Monday 22 September, 1.30 pm, at REAP House, 340 Queen Street, Masterton
Topic: To be advised.
The topic for October’s meeting will be decided at this meeting.
