Early Childhood Network at the Heart of Professional Development

A recent innovation for the Wairarapa has been the development of the Early Childhood Network. This network will include all early childhood providers in the region, including; Day Care centres, Kindergartens, Kohanga Reo, Playcentres, Playgroups and many other associated early childhood providers. While still in its final development, the network will be a partnership between these organisations with a Steering Group representing all these groups providing advice and support. It is expected that a number of strands will assist to enrich the current work of the centres. These will include; Leadership, Whole Network, Relievers, Professional Reading.

As these strands become a reality, this site will have pages devoted to key strands containing information of upcoming activities.

The Early Childhood Network will be basis of a collaboration mechanism for this sector.
