U3A University of the Third Age
U3A is Wairarapa’s University of the Third Age, offering learning for life to anyone wanting to learn something new, share an interest or skill, or find others with similar interests.There are a variety of established groups [link to page on U3A groups] including book groups, writing groups, opera and philosophy. Or you may have a passion to share and an idea for setting up a new group.
U3A is participant-led and run by a committee of volunteers. Wairarapa REAP provides support and help with venues, photocopying and accounting services.
Groups are open to anyone – there are no entry requirements, just a desire to learn new things.
