Caregivers, and Providers of children with special
needs
This workshop focuses on:
- The importance of engaging children with special needs through quality movement experiences, that can help to foster physical, social and cognitive development.
- Assisting with implementing movement activities within a fun, relaxed atmosphere.
Attendees of the workshop will receive:
- A set of 14 Active Movement booklets
- Active Movement DVD Series 1 and 2
- The Special Olympics Young Athletes play activities guide

Time 1.00pm - 2.30pm
Venue YMCA Conference Room, 371 Queen Street, Masterton
Cost No cost. Light refreshments, tea and coffee provided
Clothing There will be practical elements in the workshop so please wear appropriate clothing for movement
